First Coraline Ornament!

I have been making Coraline for awhile now but have never made an ornament, so I made one; it came out looking good but is kind of freaky! Take a look, Off with her head ; )

She is so cute with her red hair. She is about 17 inches tall and has a handmade candy cane ornament with a cardinal bird on top. Love that red wool.

Country Blessings fron Santa

Santa when country. He measures about 7 inches tall and he seats on a crow that stands on a wooden base. He is wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans, take a look at his belt not an ordinary one. He will be on ebay staring at $20.00

Alyssa Doll

OK her she is her name is Alyssa. She is a commission doll that I made the parents wanted the doll to look like their daughter. She is so cute! The doll came out looking just like her, specially the smile and the bright baby blue eyes. I am very proud of this one.

My secon doll of the season, her name is Carol and she is about 19 inches. Painted with acrylics and fabric markers. Her hair is made with natural wool that has been nedle felted to her head. Her long skirt is made with a vintage fabric.

My Elf Buddy and his bird friend Red

He is ready to help on this holidays. He was so fun to make. I used my own pattern as always, his body and face are painted with acrylics. Pants and hat are made with felt fabric. His stands a little over 19 inches tall. He will soon at Ebay.

Why it has to be only on Halloween? Common... everybody has a dark side, a wicket side. And to satisfied that dark side display all year long a Halloween decoration. It can be a handmade doll, a collection of handmade cards, or for instance pillows and quilts with a Halloween motive anything goes especially if they are handcrafted. Example of a painting that you can display all year long is this little witch that I paint with acrylics on a canvas board. Just imaging her on a black frame with a purple mat... wicket. Coraline Yellow Rain Coat

Coraline is my family's favorite animated movie with my 2 year old daughter having seen it hundreds of time! Our love for Coraline led me to create the doll pictured here. Green Art!

I am working on a new material to make doll, or should I say sculpture?. I am making my own paper clay with recylce materials. I had made 2 dolls or sculpture, they are drying so i will keep posting. When they are done I will post pictures.

It's not easy.

Ok, is not easy to manage a household,a toddler,a teen, school, a bussines a webside and blogs. Ahhhhhh. Did I mention is not easy? But it will be done,one of this days I will have a nice blog page.

Love Autumn

I love everything about Fall and it is definitely my favorite season.The smells of the morning mist, the cool breezes ,the beautiful changes of the foliage especially if you live in the northeast, where it is abundant with beautiful leaf colors and different shades of oranges, yellows and browns. But more than anything, I love to decorate for the season.
