Meet Hope- a Primitive Folk Art Raggedy Doll


Meet little Hope 9”. Don’t you just want to squeeze her?
She loves her dolly and butterflies; can you tell?

I made this little cutie from coffee and vanilla stained organic osnaburg muslin; her features are painted with acrylics, color pencils and fabric markers and sealed for protection. Her cute little shoes and socks are also painted with acrylics.

Hope has raggedy red yarn hair sewed to her head made into two pig tales tie on a bow with brown ribbon and two yellow butterflies. She has green eyes and rosy cheeks. Hope dress is made with a green checker fabric top that matches her pantaloons and her little skirt is brown with blue and pink butterflies and with the words hope and love printed on it. Her outfits are hand and machine sewed. She is holding her little dolly and as you can see also have red hair and measures a little over 5 inches tall.They are at my
